Behind the scenes, The Making of Instagram Posts Part 2

Today, I am sharing with you the videos I recorded for the #AsanaHawaiianMay challenge. I hope that looking behind the scenes will encourage beginners and experienced yogis to join challenges to explore new poses and unlocking their potentials. Remember, there is no need to buy yoga pants if you are a beginner, start with comfortable clothes and follow my lessons.

You can use any yoga mat for your morning or evening yoga practice.

The Sanskrit name or translation is Eka Pada Rajakapotasana. The breakdown for the Sanskrit name is as follows, “Eka” meaning “One”, “Pada” meaning “Foot or Leg”, “Raja” meaning “King”, “Kapota” meaning “Pigeon”, and “Asana” meaning “Posture or Pose”. It’s worth mentioning that Kapotasana Pose is an entirely different pose than Rajakapotasana. When Mermaid Pose is performed in correct alignment, it creates freedom throughout the entire front torso. It also lifts and opens the heart. This pose also provides a deep stretch to the thighs, groins, shoulders, and chest. It improves mobility in the spine and hips, strengthens the abdominal muscles, and stimulates the organs of the torso.

Om Shanti!
